White Carbon

A Mercedes-AMG GT-R finished in pearl white and worked through a full carbon-fibre aero programme — the beast Affalterbach built, refined for the boulevard without blunting its teeth. The commission was about contrast: a stark white body set hard against exposed carbon fibre, with the 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 left exactly as AMG delivered it. NERO laid the pearl white in an automotive-grade paint system tuned to throw light in layers, so the colour reads cooler in shade and almost luminous in direct sun. A full carbon widebody kit was fitted across the car, with a matched front splitter and a race-bred rear diffuser sized to the widened track. The carbon treatment was carried through every exterior detail — bonnet vents, mirror caps, quarter panel intakes, canards and fender louvres — each piece clear-coated to lift the weave rather than hide it. The paint, widebody fitment, aero components and carbon detailing were completed in-house. The factory drivetrain, transmission and chassis remain untouched. The result reads as a track car that has never needed to explain itself — raw supercar performance, refined surface treatment, zero compromises on either side.

The NERO Process

How a NERO build comes together

Every NERO commission begins with a written brief — the car, the direction, reference imagery, any deadline. From that we draft a specification and an indicative quotation, then agree scope before any work begins. Consultations are handled remotely from our London atelier; workshop visits are by invitation only.

In-house design and engineering develop bespoke aero and body panels in premium carbon-fibre composites — splitters, diffusers, widebody fender work, full aero kits. Paint programmes, paint protection film, and vehicle wrapping are executed through a hand-picked specialist network, named on invoice and accountable to NERO's finish standards. Forged wheels are specified from recognised wheel forgers; interior retrim is worked in premium leather and genuine Alcantara with bespoke stitching, perforation, and embossing patterns.

The build is documented from commission to delivery — photography, progress updates, and a finished handover in London. International delivery, CMR paperwork, and enclosed transport are arranged on request.
